Yabusele and Heurtel decide

Real took over early in the first period and got quickly a 10 point lead (16-6, min. 6) over the visitors. But Maccabi responded thanks to Wilbekin and to a good defense. Real led by 2 after the first 10 minutes, 20-18.
Maccabi kept its great defense and Real had a hard time scoring and the Israelian team got the lead for the first time after a three from Wilbekin. Real got back in control at the scoreboard again but the lead changed from side to side until the end of the second quarter that Rudy sealed with a three cutting Maccabi's margin to 1 point (37-38).
Coming off the locker room Real had still difficulties for scoring while on Maccabi's side Wilbekin, Blayzer and Reynolds were more inspired. The visitors took advantage of Real's offensive blockage and opened an important gap (50-59, min. 30).
Heurtel led Real during the last stretch of the game taking command with 4 minutes left: two threes and a great layup got the Whites leading back (70-67, with 30 seconds left). A 3 from Derrick Williams tied the game leaving 14 seconds at the scoreboard, but Real's last possession that was for Yabusele, who scored around the basket winning the game, 72-70.
