Working the win until the last second
Real Madrid got in trouble again by the end of the game against Bayern Munich, but was consistent enough to beat the Germans, 64-68.

The first quarter was the most dynamic one of the game with a dominant Tavares (10 points in the quarter) in the paint and a surprising Hunter scoring from the distance (6 points, 2 threes in the first 10 minutes), with Bayern leading 22-21.

Already in the second quarter another 3 pointer from Hunter got the locals a max advantage (32-25) until consecutive threes from Hezonja and Llull balanced the game. Real Madrid kept pushing and was able to lead by halftime 39-42.

Real Madrid lead for as many as 8 during a third period of little score (11-12) but Bayern managed to get back on track thanks to several long range shots. Hezonja scored the last shot of the quarter, another three, for the teams entering the crucial last ten minutes the Whites leading 50-54.

Trinchieri's squad was able to come back (57-56, min 33) but right after that, again through Llull with another three, Real got on top at the scoreboard. The guard nailed another long range shot with 1:22 left for a 6 point gap (58-64, min 39) that Yabusele enlarged to 8 points thanks to 2 free throws.

An astonishing 6-0 run for Bayern in only 40 seconds made appear Monaco's game at the Palacio's ghosts, but a good defense and two free throws from USA sealed the game for Mateo's men.
