Win in Munich
Despite a better start by Real Madrid, both teams were off to a defensive quarter and none of them was accurate, as the score at the end of the first 10 minutes of the game at the Audi Dome was 13-13.

Llull unblocked the visitors on the long range with 2 threes during the second quarter, the Germans still very physical in this second period. It was the time for a superb Poirier to step up: supported by Yabusele, Taylor and Causeur, he lead the Whites who reached halftime with an 11 point lead, 32-43.

Bayern stroke first coming off the locker room, reducing the gap, and Abalde was Real's response with seven straight points, but the Germans were again very physical and Real had a hard time scoring, as the locals tied the game (53-53); but Laso's squad was able again to find Yabusele and the visitors managed to finish the third quarter leading by 2 points (58-60, min. 30).

The last quarter was an open battle. This time Real stroke first but the locals had a good response specially when Tavares and Poirier were both sent off the game with both technical fouls. But Real Madrid stepped up in defense and the French trio Yabusele, Causeur, Heurtel were the scorers (76-76, min. 39) in offense.

With a great effort Real was able to close the game with 4 free throws (2 from Yabusele and 2 from Llull) with a turnover that the French forward forced in the final 30 seconds of the contest. Real pulled a valuable win in Munich, 76-80.
