The visitors started strong at the Wizink Center with a good first quarter, thanks to its back court, securing a 3 point lead by the end of the first 10 minutes (16-19) and increasing the margin at the scoreboard at halftime (31-37) after a good second quarter as well.
But Laso's men third period was outstanding, led by a dynamic Sergio Llull who scored 3 threes in the quarter, and the Whites pulled a 31-16 run grabbing a 9 point lead (62-53) when facing the last period of the game.
The Whites were better launching the last period with a good team work (Hanga, Poirier) and managed to get a 14 point lead early in the quarter. Unicaja would fight back but Real succeeded to tie the visitor's hands adding anew win that secures a Copa del Rey spot.
