To the semi finals!

Spain advanced to the World Championship's semi finals thirteen years after Japan's 2006 tournament: it is the third time that the National Team plays the second to last round in this competition.
Poland was a tough rival. With disadvantage on the paint but lead by a very resolute Slaughter the Polish players based their game on the long range shooting and quick offensive plays; but the Spanish squad was great on defense and was always finding a good option in offense thanks to its collective game and the extra pass.
Spain's second unit was always able to keep the pace and the Spanish's squad was also accurate from the 3pt lane (11/28 for Sacriolo's men per 10/29 for the Polish team).
But once more Spain's choral game (28 assists!) lead the team to a new win that takes them to the semi finals where they will play either Australia, either the Czech Republic.
