To the semi finals

To the semi finals
Fisac's squad was this time off to a better start: good defense and a good job from his young big men gave Gran Canaria the first advantadges of the match, although Real Madrid was adjusting its defense and overturning the score by the end of the period (15-16, min 10).

Despite a dubious start again in the second period the visitors were finally taking the reins of the game mostly thanks to the long distance. Gran Canaria was coming back late (35-37, halftime), as Real's 3s during the first half of the game and its offensive rebounding kept the Whites on top at the scoreboard.

Both squads had a hard time scoring coming back from the locker room until an active Alocén lead a Real Madrid run that allowed the Whites a 7 point margin (51-58, min 30) before entering the last quarter.

Laso's men were consistent in the last 10 minutes, thanks to an outstanding Rudy (three 3s from the forward, one including a +1), and a solid rebounding (17 offensive boards at the end of the contest), and managed to pull a win that takes them to the semin finals.
