The Palacio is a bunker
Again in the first quarter Real Madrid's game did not translate on a consistent margin at the scoreboard at the end of the first quarter: 20-16 for the locals even though they played much better than Málaga.

The locals were again stronger in the second period but Unicaja was able to tighten its defense and grab more rebounds than the Whites, thus the difference was still 4 points for Real reaching halftime (37-33).

It was the time for an inspired Francis Alonso: 5 threes with no misses for 16 points in the 3rd quarter. However, Real responded with its best game adding more players in offense, and a three scored by Jeff Taylor by the buzzer closed the period with Madrid's biggest advantage so far: 67-58.

Real rationed its advantage during the last 10 minutes, and Llull and Tavares responded to Unicaja's last attempt to turn around the score. Real pulled a new win, 91-84.
