Team work versus Mike James

Strong start by Mike James and Armani Milán at el Palacio for a visiting team that was already leading by 14 at the end of the first period, 19-33; it took some time for Real to adjust defensively and fully enter the game thanks to the team work. At half time the locals found themselves in a much better position (50-55) despite taking too many points for the initial 20 minutes.
The third period would be the turning point and Real was able to take the lead; Tavares was colossal in defense and Randolph again guided the offense. It was then one more time Sergio Llull's time: the guard scored three consecutive treys getting his team a small gap at the scoreboard. But Mike James made his appearance again for wiping off the locals' advantage.
Real Madrid was more consistent in the last quarter's basket exchange facing again the last minutes with a slight margin. The Whites had a hard time scoring in their last possessions but their defense let Milan without scoring neither and Laso's men pulled a new victory in Europe, 92-89.
