Statement victory
It was a big game at the Palacio and Real Madrid was ready for the contest. Fenerbahce came to visit the Whites with the Euroleague regular season's best record and Obradovic's men were up to a good start that forced Real Madrid's first time out of the game call (10-19, min 6).

Coming off the time out Madrid was ready for coming back and the first quarter finished with Real leading 27-25. In the second period both benches made their appearances with a pretty balanced exchange of baskets but Real Madrid's 2pt field goals were outstanding and the score at half time was 52-45 for the locals.

During the end of the third quarter it was again the time for Sergio Llull: 2 long 3 pointers (one of them drawing a foul) and 2 alley oops dished to Edy Tavares lifted Real to lead 77-61 at the end of the first 30 minutes. Fenerbahce did not give up on the game but Laso's men were really focused and were able to stay ahead and pull a valuable win (101-86).
