Real Madrid was determined to get the third series win and was off to a very good start with a 8-19 run and scoring 5 of its first 7 attempted threes. FC Barcelona was only able to strenghten its defense, and Pangos was the lighthouse in offense after Heurtel, scoreless, went to the bench.
An 11-1 run gave some air to the hosts (19-20) during the first 10 minutes and already in the second period, again Pangos with a good basket was giving the locals their first lead of the game (27-26, min 12). Real would nevertheless take the reins again and lead at half time, 33-37.
The guests were again lethal by the beginning of the third quarter and got a 10 point gap, but once more FC Barcelona despite Heurtel's absence (scoreless unitl the last quarter) were on an 8-0 run trimming the gap. However Causeur and Campazzo, one three each, gave their team a new consistent lead at the end of the third period (47-55).
The final quarter was White: Real was in charge completely getting a game maximum advantage of 12 points (55-67, min 38) that FC Barcelona was not able to overcome. Laso's men rationed out the advantage until the end of the game for the final 68-74 that gave Real Madrid the game, the series and the Championship; Real's 4th title in the past 5 seasons.
