Spain basketball's shortlist for the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games
The Spanish Federation disclosed the 12 player shortlist for the Tokyo 2021 Olympics past night, with the remarkable presence of Juancho Hernangómez in the roster.

The 12 names are: Marc Gasol, Pau Gasol, Willy Hernangómez and Usman Garuba as centers. Victor Claver, Alberto Abalde, Juancho Hernangómez and Alex Abrines as forwards; Rudy Fernández and Sergio Llull will be the guards, and Ricky Rubio and Sergio Rodríguez will be the two playmakers.

The Spanish squad will make its debut on Monday the 26th in front of the host, Japan. The other two Spanish rivals in the group stage will be Argentina and Slovenia; both teams count on the presence in their roster of several former Spanish Championship (ACB) players like Campazzo, Deck and Doncic.

These will be Sergio Llull's 3rd Olympic Games, as the player from Mahón was already an Olympic Athlete in London '12 and Río de Janeiro '16. Sergio has one Silver medal (2012) and one Bronze medal (2016) from his previous Olympic appearances.
