Real Madrid visited Turkey and was able to get back home with a victory defeating Fenerbahce in Istambul.
The hosts were short handed missing Scott Wilbekin and Marko Guduric, and the Whites made a perfect reading of the situation tightening the defense on the locals' backcourt.
Fenerbahce averaged a poor 25% from three while Real Madrid averaged a 44% with a 11/25 series, and complemented with a 21 from 30 field goals series (total, 32/55 at the end of the game).
The visitors led by 9 points at the end of the first 10 minutes (16-25) and increased to the 12 points by halftime. Real won the third quarter again (20-22) for a 54-68 score, and cruised until the end of the game in the last period.
Tavares was the Whites' best man with 17 points and a 26 PIR and remained perfect (7 out 7 field goals, 3 out of 3 free throws) at the end of the game.
Valuable win on the road for Real Madrid, 71-85.
