Season ending
FC Barcelona was the fair winner of the Finals despite Real Madrid's home court factor, on a season in which the court advantage did in fact not mean much. The Whites were exhausted on this Final stage of the season due to the Anadolu Efes' five game series and the Valencia Basket tight 3rd game of the semi finals.

It has been a tough year on Laso's men squad: Campazzo was the first one leaving the team, back in November, for the NBA. Randolph was the next out due to a serious injury that was sending him off the court for the remaining of the season, and Gabriel Deck followed Campazzo's steps, in April. Tavares, sidelined, missed most of Anadolu Euroleague quarter finals' series also due to an injury and Trey Thompkins was also playing his last games of the season against Efes.

Laso's men have again been extraordinary competitors. Real has been a contender in all competitions until the last moment, and the Whites have overcome obstacle after obstacle showing a rarely seen competitive edge.

An atypical season finishes, alike the previous one: no fans, postponed games, players' out on specific weeks on many teams, and many uncertainties concerning schedules and trips. But playing without the audience has been the toughest fact. Thanks to the fans for their patience and consistent support: their return to the stands is a precious moment forever.

Time now for resting and getting ready for the Tokyo Olympics.

Thank you everyone!!
