Real will travel to Belgrade with the series being an uphill climb
Real and Partizan were launching one of the 4 quarter finals series at the Wizink Center, with the Whites being the favourite for taking the fixture on the road to Kaunas, but Partizan stroke first.

With a hesitant Tavares and a missing Poirier, Real's small ball showed results mostly during the first encounter but Punter was lethal in the very last minutes and closed the game (87-89) for Partizan with nearly no time left on the clock, responding to a previous three by a giant Gabriel Deck.

The second game saw Poirier, who had recently had an apendix surgery, substituting Tavares. But despite's the French big man being one of Real's best performers, and the balance on the rebounds between both squads, Partizan's improved field goals and better care of the ball got the visitors an important gap by the end of the game (80-95).

The nerves appeared at the final of the contest on both ends, with a fight between some players of both squads that resulted in some suspensions for the upcoming games of the series, that the Serbian team lead 0-2 shocking everybody.

Real has an arduous task trying to level the series in Belgrade this upcoming week.
