Real takes Tel Aviv
No European team had been able to travel to Tel Aviv and get back home with a win, but a very improved Real Madrid was able yesterday, after a very good game, to be the first squad doing so.

Tavares (5 blocks, 10 rebounds), Campazzo (11 points, 8 assists) and Randolph (19 points) were Real's best men, but the Whites fundamented their win on a a great team effort. Laso's men reached half time trailing by 2 points after an erratic first 2 quarters (38-36).

Real's return from the locker room was excellent and the visitors deployed their best game reaching a maximum advantage right before the end of the third period (44-54 m. 29). But Wilbekin and Cohen emerged on the local's side for an unexpected comeback between the end of the 3rd quarter and the beginning of the last period (58-59 m. 32). A three from Llull and a dominant Tavares gave Real a new margin (60-68 m. 37) but Maccabi scored again from the distance (Wilbekin).

Campazzo would lead from here scoring 9 of Real Madrid's last 11 points. Despite Maccabi's persistence from the 3 point line, Laso's men would seal the win with 4 free throws (Campazzo and Thompkins).

Good win for Real Madrid at the end of the game (77-81), still tied with FC Barcelona and CSKA in the Euroleague standings.
