Real strikes strong in the first playoffs game

The visitors' resilience on the first game of the series only laste 7 minutes of the first quarter, as the hosts closed the first quarter with an 11-4 run for the 22-13 score.
Gran Canaria's nightmare lasted for most of the second period as well as Real Madrid improved to 41-13 after a 19-0 run. It took the visting team more than 6 minutes to score its first basket in the second 10 minutes. Real's gap at halftime was close to the 20 points (51-25), Jaka Lakovic men not finding ways to stop the Whites' offense.
