Real got a win against in Murcia, on a very difficult court, thanks to a great performance from Vincent Poirier, who scored 24 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for a PIR of 31 on scarcely 20 minutes played. The French center was supported by an accurate Williams-Goss who added 18 points.
The first 2 runs were favorable for the Whites who got to halftime with a 10 point advantage (35-45), thanks to a good defense and to Rudy and Llull joining Poirier and Goss' party in offense during the first 20 minutes.
The third quarter was the only one that fell on Murcia's side (17-14) as Madrid slowed down its pace offensively due in part to Rudy and Alocén's injuries. Murcia reduced the gap at the scoreboard to 52-59.
Murcia never gave up during the last 10 minutes but the locals were never able to really upset Madrid as the Whites pulled a new victory on the road closing a 3 win week, 71-80.
