While the first quarter was very close (19-18 min 10), Real Madrid was splendid in the second period, with a great defense and accurate in offense thanks specially to Llull and Causeur: the Whites got a 26-12 run and reached the break with a 15 point lead (45-30).
Real was really accurate from the distance during the third period (Carroll first and Laprovittola by the end scored 2 threes each) and Tavares and Garuba were gigantic on both ends of the court. The Whites' margin reached the 30 points during the quarter, that ended with the score 72-44.
The last period was again for Laso's men who, even though the lead, didn't stop pressing the gas pedal: Taylor, Deck, Alocén, all players on the squad added in both offense and defense. Even Llull was able to perform one of his signature very long shots from hos own half of the court. Sergio Llull became also sixth best all time passer from the Euroleague (1.127) advancing Teodosic.
