Real Madrid and Tavares rule in Belgrade
Tavares had again an ecellent performance, scoring 17 points (7/8 field goals) grabbing 12 rebounds and registering 4 blocks for a 35 PIR total. He was the whites lighthouse supported by Dzanan Musa and directed by Sergio Rodríguez who got 7 assists.

The game was much tougher for the Whites than what the final score shows, and despite Real building a good lead in the first quarter (16-25, min 10) and enlarging the difference in the second 10 minutes (17-31, min 13), Ivanovic's adjustments and good minutes from the former White Kuzmic, plus Nedovic and Petrusev, got Zvezda back into the game (34-38, halftime).

The same players pulling from the locals turned around the score (47-42, min 25) as they were leading again. Real Madrid got back on track and came back with a 4-15 run, to face the last 10 minutes of the game with a 6 point advantage, 51-57.

Mateo's board worked perfectly during the 4th period, as the Tavares - Cornelie duo spread the floor and the Whites found the center easily, and completely owned the boards (44 rebounds at the end of the game per only 27 from the locals).

A 0-12 run got an 18 point gap for Real Madrid (51-69, 4 minutes to go), as the guests tore the game up for a convincing victory, 59-79.
