Real Madrid is the only team in the Euroleague playoffs to record a 2-0 leasd after the four quarter finals series, after a solid win yesterday night at the Palacio.

The Whites won the first encounter on Wednesday, 84-74, based on an excellent three point percentage during the whole game (16/29) and a solid defense. Causeur was the locals' best man with 20 points and 21 PIR as Real was able to be ahead at the scoreboard during the whole game.

The series' second game was pretty different and Real's offense was excellent: 35 points in the first quarter and 56 points in the first half nearly setting a Euroleague's new record.

Poirier was unmatched on both ends of the court (16 points, 10 rebounds, 6 of which were offensive, for a 31 PIR) as Sergio Llull lead the winners in scoring with 17 points including 5 threes (5/9 threes) with a good support from Guerschon Yabusele, 16 points.

By halftime Real Madrid was already leading 56-37 rolling over Maccabi with a great team performance, as the visitors were practically giving up on the game and Real improved winning again the third quarter run for a conclusive 74-48 at the end of the third period.

Both teams exchanged baskets during the last 10 minutes and the game finished with a 95-66 win as the Whites take a great step towards the Belgrade Final Four. Next game will take place on Tuesday in Tel Aviv.
