Real closes regular season as third classified
The ACB regular season finished yesterday and Real Madrid beat Real Betis at the Wizink on the day the Whites offered the Euroleague to the fans. With such an intense week and Betis fighting for avoiding relegation, it was expected to be a delicate game.

The contest was pretty balanced from the beginning, Real Madrid sharing a lot of minutes between all roster, and the score at halftime was 38-38.

Coming off the locker room Tavares and Yabusele took the reins for the locals, until Tyson Pérez and Jean Montero made their appearance for Betis as the green and whites got their first substantial advantage of the game (50-55, min 28).

Despite the guests keeping the 5 point gap at the end of the third quarter (57-61) Real was not losing track of Betis (66-67, min 35), but Casemiro's men were able to chain several good defenses and offenses reaching a max 7 point advantage (70-77) with 2 minutes left.

But Williams-Goss inspiration was going to give Real a 9-0 run and the victory, 79-77. The Whites stay in the third position as Baskonia beat Girona on another close game, and Real Betis is relegated to LEB Oro for next season.

The quarter finals against Gran Canaria will launch on Sunday at the Wizink.
