Real beats FC Barcelona

Real had another test on Sunday in Barcelona after Thursday's pass to the Euroleague's quarter finals in Istambul. Laso's men were off to a great start again (0-9) as FC Barcelona had trouble scoring during the first minutes of the contest.
The Whites' great defense held the locals to 15 points in the first quarter (15-20) and 33 points by halftime (33-42). Real's best players were Vukcevic, Garuba and Laprovittola while only Calathes on Jasikevicius' squad was keeping up to Real's pace.
FC Barcelona's defense improved in the third period and Mirotic appeared finnally for the local team as Tavares, in foul trouble, had to stay on the bench for most of the period. The run on the quarter was 24-17 for Barça and the contest entered a frenetic last period.
Laso's men were again great on defense scoring fluent and effectively and got early results: 61-74, min 34. Real entered the last 40 seconds of the game 9 points ahead, but the local team on an extraordinary effort, thanks to Higgins and Mirotic, managed to put Barça ahead with 10 seconds left.
A brilliant 2+1 by Laprovittola gave Real Madrid the final advantage for an excellent win.
