Tavares and Poirier (23 PIR each) led their team to a new win, at home, against Crvena Zvezda, after a slow start and a humble first half of the game that sent the teams to the locker room with a tied score (32-32).
But a much improved Real in the third quarter sealed a 25-14 run thanks to the centers and to a great Rudy Fernández, who was the lighthouse both in offense and defense.
Real opened a big gap with 5 minutes left of the game (70-51, min. 35) but the visitors still tried their best for a comeback (74-65, min. 38). Nevertheless, a three from Hanga buried Zrvena's hopes and Real pulled a new win at the end of the game, 79-67.
