Llull lifts Real for a crucial win
Real had a good start of the game at the Palacio, as the Whites scored fluently with an inspired Gabriel Deck. On the Italian side Melli held up Milán, but the Whites were much better and led 25-16 after 10 minutes.

But Milan recorded a 2-9 run quickly in the second quarter trimming the locals' advantage to 2 points (27-25). The visitors completed the comeback right after (29-30, min 16) and Laso made some effective adjustments for overturning the score again (38-32, min 18). But Milán made a last effort and both teams got to the locker room with a tied score, 41-41.

Real was better resuming the game and seemed to grab a good lead (50-44, min 24) but Tavares was then ejected and despite a good Sergio Llull, Milan leveled the game again after 30 minutes, 64-64.

Milan took control of the game in front of Real Madrid's lack of ideas, but Heurtel help the Whites tie the score again (74-74, min 35). The visitors, more accurate in offense, got a new lead at the scoreboard that seemed to be final (74-81, min 38), but Madrid's defense and a three pointer from Llull with less than a minute at the clock, tied the game again. None of the teams was able to score and the game got to the over time.

Llull led his team in the extra time with 7 points (90-83, min 43), and Real Madrid was able to get a very valuable win against a tough rival, 92-88.
