Good debut at el Palacio
Good European season launching in Madrid in front of one of the most powerful teams: Obradovic's Fenerbahce. The Turkish had Vesely injured but De Colo was premiering for the visitors.

Fenerbahce was able to hold Real's best man during the first half and Taylor was the man leading the White's offense. However Madrid's choral game was very productive and Real was leading by nine points after the first 10 minutes (30-21). Only De Colo seemed to be able to score fluently.

However, during the second quarter Derrick Williams and De Colo's duo led the team to a comeback: Fenerbahce headed to the locker room trailing only by 1 at halftime (43-42).

Coming off the locker room Taylor, Campazzo and Randolph in offense and a great team work on defense got the locals another good run (21-13) and Real was facing the last period with a good margin at the scoreboard.

But all Obradovic's teams are difficult to beat and already in the 4th quarter Sloukas was tying the game with only 3:25 left. It was again the time of an inspired Jeffery Taylor who scored 4 from Real's last 8 points, leading the way for a good win, 81-77.
