First season's trophy!

First season's trophy!
Real Madrid pulled the first season's torunament with authority in front of a renewed FC Barcelona that introduced most of its additions with special mention of former Madrid's Nikola Mirotic.

The contest was evenly-matched during the first period (21-20) but the Whites pressed the gas pedal in the second quarter thanks to an outstanding defense, led by Deck, doing a great work on Mirotic. The run during this period was 27-13 for Laso's men.

But FC Barcelona's reaction was a matter of time and Davies led the blaugrana team to a very different third period: 30 points scored by Pesic's men thanks not only to the center but also to Higgins and Mirotic. The scoreboard showed a 6 point margin at the end of the quarter (69-63 min 30).

Llull led Real's offense during the beginning of the last period driving to the basket and finding good passes for his team mates to score while Davis was still the best man on Barcelona's squad. Real entered the last 2 minutes of the game with a 5 point margin (5 down for Madrid with 1:40 to go) but then a connection yet between Campazzo (Super Cup's MVP) and Llull with the Argentinian scoring a three point shoot, made the final getaway for Real Madrid.

New win (89-79) and new trophy for Laso's men in this season's first Clásico.
