First road European win
Real Madrid managed to grab its first road win in the Euroleaguse this season beating Zenit St Petersburg on a game that had many different stages.

The first quarter was for Real with Causeur, Tavares and Heurtel lading the Whites while the ex Real Madrid player Jordan Mickey was Zenit's best man (7 points in the period). Real lead by 9 points at the end of the first 10 minutes, 13-22.

But the locals were about to come back thanks to Baron (3) and Zubkov's (2) downtown threes. Real held thanks to Alocén and Abalde first and to Heurtel by the end of the quarter, but Zenit managed to lead by halftime, 40-39.

Ponitka and Gudaitis stroke first coming off the locker room but Tavares first, and Yabusele once the center picked up his fourth foul, lifted Real, supported by an excellent Rudy, who ruled on defense. Real got back in the lead facing the last 10 minutes of the game (57-59, min. 30).

Rudy kept leading his team's defense while Causeur lead in offense and the visitors got a 12 point maximum advantage with only 3 minutes left of the game (61-73, min. 37). Zenit went again to the threes for a desperate comeback but Real's defense was excellent. Baron scored his 4th 3 pointer of the game bringing Zenit within 6 points with less than one minute left but Pascual's men were not able to score as Rudy again got a new steal in the next possession.

Real sealed the game and the victory, 68-75. The Whites visit Kazan on Friday.
