Euroleague Champions!

After my ACL injury I knew there was a long way to go and my team mates and the team's staff support was incredible from the beginning. Unfortunately other team mates got injured as well during the season... But this team's spirit and strength were always outstanding both in Euroleague and in our National competition where we have always fought for staying on top of the championship.

reaching the Final Four after a tough quarter finals fixture was a great prize for such a titanic season; and it was indescribable for me: getting back on the court after more than 8 months since my injury and being able to do it at the Palacio, in front of all of you.

The 2 games in Belgrade, against 2 of the toughest teams in Europe, gave us the opportunity of showing this team's strength, toughness and spirit.

Finally on Sunday, at the Stark Arena, when the bell went off and the game was over I felt really happy for the price, truly earned, that crowns and exceptional season in the Euroleague. Lifting the trophy on top of the podium next to our great Captain will be an unforgettable picture.

There's still work to do this season and we need to keep the good work, thanking your support and all of you being there the tougher times. But what will always be ours is that we were strong during the bad times for getting #ladécima at home.
