Epic win over CSKA

Real Madrid had only 6 first-team players facing CSKA in Euroleague and had to give its very best for getting an heroic European win, thanks to a great performance from 3 academy players.
Real's performance was epic since the beginning and the Whites quickly pulled a good advantage: 17-3, minute 7. Tavares (15 points, 10 rebounds) and Williams-Goss (17 points, 6 assists) showed the way but CSKA was about to come back and the game reached halftime with a 3 point advantage for the Russian squad, 37-40.
All players were decisive on Real's side and the Whites succeeded to counteract CSKA's offense getting to the last and crucial quarter with a minimum margin for the locals, 56-55.
Two threes from Llull early in the period lifted Real (65-55, min. 35), who started to believe in the miracle, while the visitors withstood thanks to the long range (67-61, min. 38). But Williams-Goss was outstanding at the end of the game with three consecutive baskets, helping Real secure a historic win.
