Real had a better start of the game in Burgos and doubled at the scoreboard the local squad by the end of the first ten minutes (11-22). San Pablo Burgos managed to score and finish the first quarter 'only' 8 points behind Real.
Paco Olmos' men improved on defense in the second period, specially being able to stop Madrid's big men in the paint, but Real was scoring from the distance and managed to take the run once again and led by 11 points by halftime (30-41).
Real Madrid was again better resuming the game, with a 0-7 run, and kept increasing the difference until reaching the 20 points of margin. San Pablo Burgos responded after a time out, but the locals were never able again to go below the 10 points at the scoreboard.
At the end of the game new win for Real, 70-85, on a contest in which the duo Yabusele - Poirier was too much for the rival.
