2020 Supercup champions!

2020 Supercup champions!
Real Madrid got its seventh Supercup in Tenerife (3rd consecutive one), and Laso’s era 20th trophy in an exciting Final where strategies and defense took over fast offense.

Real lead at the end of first quarter (18-14) with a very consistent defensive game based mainly on Deck and Abalde's athleticism. But FC Barcelona responded in the second period being more accurate in offense and tougher on defense. The scoreboard at halftime was 31-32 for Jasikevicius' men.

Barça came off the locker room stronger and was able to get a 5 point gap at the scoreboard but Real had always an answer and came back for leading again at the end of the third period (50-49).

Again, in the last quarter Real's team work countered Mirotic's best minutes in the game. Campazzo in offense and Sergio Llull on both ends lifted Real Madrid, reaching the last minute of the game with a tied score. And this is Real's land: three extraordinary defensive plays, including Rudy Fernández's over Hanga, and more accuracy in offense gave the Whites the final lead (72-67) for pulling a new Supercup.
